Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced freelance Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and be proficient with various accounting tools. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Handle the invoicing process for all clients, including batch uploading invoices into the software.
- Review and verify the accuracy of all payment requests and ensure timely payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in transaction records.
- Manage payroll processing and vendor communications.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accounting or any relevant degree.
- At least 2-5 years of relevant experience working in US General Accounting or US Bookkeeping
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a freelance capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Project Length: Ongoing freelance position with flexible hours.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
